How Do I Add / Create A New Source for My Campaigns?

A "Source" means which category and/or prospecting method did your lead come from.   If you are a user of multiple services e.g website, landing page, tag marketing, its a good strategy to create different sources in your CRM which can simplify and keep track of your leads.
It is very important that you keep track of where your leads are coming from.  Each online method should have a separate source, along with non-internet leads.   If you participate in door knocking or open houses, you should create a new source category for each.

Sample Sources (include but are not limited to):

  • Website
  • Nosy Neighbour - Landing Page
  • Home Worth - Landing Page
  • Tag Marketing
  • Facebook
  • Kijiji
  • Door Knocking
  • Cold Calling
  • Open House
  • Referral

Login to your CRM account

Under the Settings tab, click on Sources

On the top right hand side of your screen, click on New Source

Now enter in the name for your new Source and click Save.  Please repeat this process for each new lead source you would like to enter.

You will now see your new source in the list.
