Website Section 3: Header HomePage / InnerPages Slideshow

With the Header HomePage & Inner Settings, you have the ability (just like with the TopBar) to have the a picture slideshow active on all of your website pages or on just one page.   The HomePage slideshow and the Inner Page slideshow are 2 separate slideshows, that showcase different pictures.

 

How to Access the Header HomePage/InnerPages Settings

To make changes to the Header HomePage slideshow click on HomePage Settings. NOTE: The Header Homepage Settings, is ONLY for the Home Page

 

Show the Header HomePage / InnerPages Slideshow Globally

If you would like the Header HomePage and/or InnerPages slideshow to be shown on all pages, click on Global Widget and then click on Save & Refresh to save your changes.

NOTE: The Header HomePage should always be set Global Widget.  Also DO NOT HIDE it from Public View.

NOTE: The Header HomePage Settings button and the Header InnerPages Setting buttons are independent of each other.  That means in order to change the options of both of them you will need to redo the process under both settings.  In order to have access to the Header InnerPages Settings button, you must navigate to another page other than the home page (TIP: use the menu bar)

 

Show the Header InnerPages Slideshow on a Certain Page

If you would like the Header InnerPage picture slideshow to ONLY be shown on a certain page ie: Contact, click on the Contact page in the menu bar.

Now click on the Header InnerPage Settings button.

 

Click on Just for this page and then click Save & Refresh to save your changes.

Remove the Header InnerPages Slideshow

You also have the option to completely remove the Header InnerPage slideshow from your website.  

Click on Header InnerPages Settings

 

Under the Hide From Public View option click on Yes and then click Save & Refresh to save your changes

Changing the position of the Search Bar (Centre Image)

Your Centre Image is automatically set to 40%.  In order to change the position of the image click on Header Homepage and/or InnerPage Settings.  For this example we will be doing the HomePage.  If you would like to change the Search Bar on the InnerPages, please follow the same steps but under the InnerPages Settings button.

 

When the editing screen opens at the bottom scroll down until you see Centre Image Positioning. In order for you to have a better idea of how the position works, we will set the top position to 5% and to 80%.  

 

Make sure you click Save and Refresh to save all of your changes.

 

Add Agent Head Shot to Slideshow as a Fixed Picture

You have the ability to add your picture as a fixed image in the bottom left corner for the slideshow.

If you will be changing and/or adding your slideshow pictures, click on the settings button.  For this example I will be editing the Header HomePage slideshow.  

NOTE: The same instructions are to be used if you are changing the pictures for the Homepage or the InnerPages.

 

Once the editing menu opens at the bottom of your screen, use the scroll down button to get to the bottom of the editing screen.

 

Your image gallery will now open up.  Click on Your Images.  All images you have previously uploaded will be showcased to the right.

 

If this is a new image you are adding, click Browse under the Upload New box.  The File Upload screen will now appear. Please find the picture on your computer and click the Open button.  If you are going to use an image you previously uploaded, then click on Select Image after you locate the image file in the image gallery.

You will now see that your newly uploaded image is now available to select from your image gallery.  Please click on Select Image.

 

Make sure you click on Save & Refresh to save your changes.

 

NOTE: If you like how your head shot looks and you want to make sure that your head shot is on all other slideshow pages on your website, then follow the previous steps under the Header Innerpages Settings.

 

Remove Agent Head Shot From Slideshow

Now some of you will add your headshot to your homepage/innerpage slideshow and then decide that you do not like how the logo looks and you would like to remove it completely.

Even though you want to remove the Headshot, you will technically be adding an image that is one 1pixel in size so you will not be able to see it on the website.

Click Select New Image

 

Your image gallery will now open up.  Click on Misc.  

 

To the right you will see an image name 1-pixel-empty-image.png.  Please select this image.

 

Make sure you click on Save & Refresh to save your changes.

Adding and/or changing the slideshow pictures for your Homepage and/or InnerPages

NOTE:  All of the slideshows are set up with 4 generic pictures.  We highly recommend you change these pictures.  

If you will be changing and/or adding your slideshow pictures, click on the settings button.  For this example I will be editing the Header HomePage slideshow.  

 

Once you have found and have saved them to your computer, click on Select New Image.  

NOTE: For slideshow pictures you must start at Picture #2.  Do NOT Use slot for Picture #1

 

Your image gallery will now open up.  Click on Your Images.  All images you have previously uploaded will be showcased to the right.

 

If this is a new image you are adding, click Browse under the Upload New box.  The File Upload screen will now appear. Please find the picture on your computer and click the Open button.  If you are going to use an image you previously uploaded, then click onSelect Image button that is beside the desired image.

You will now see that your newly uploaded image is now available to select from your image gallery.  Please click on Select Image.

 

Make sure you click on Save & Refresh to save your changes.
