If you want to delete a source category it is very easy to do. If you have leads already listed under the source category that you want to delete, it is highly recommend that you change their source category before deleting it.

NOTE: If you do NOT change a leads source before deleting the source category, that lead will remained labeled under the category you have deleted. I will remain under than source category for about a week. After a week, those leads will have no source, thus you will then have to change it afterwards.
Login to your CRM
Click on the Settings tab and Sources in the drop down menu.
Now find the desired Source category and click Delete. For this example, we will be deleting the Agent Referrals source.
The system will ask you to confirm that you would like to delete this source category. Click OK. If you have clicked delete by accident, click Cancel.
