How to Insert / Add an Image/ Photo with Links into an Email Template

Updated :

Email templates are saved emails that you can keep into your CRM to be reused numerous times.

Log in to your CRM and click on “Emails” tab on top of the page.  From the drop down menu, please select Email Templates.

Click Edit beside the email template you would like to insert the image into or click on New Saved Email on the right to create a new email.

While you are in the email editor click on the Insert Image button.

Click on Browse Server

Click on Upload

Select the file from your computer that you would like to upload.

Find the file that you just uploaded into the email image gallery.  Double click on it, to insert it into your email template.

HINT: The files are uploaded in alphabetical order.

Make any necessary changes to the image.

1. Width

2. Height

3. Insert a border: add in a numerical value; the higher the number, the thicker the border

4. HSpace: this will create padding around the image so that the text is not right beside it.  The larger the number you insert, the larger the space is.

5. VSpace: this will create padding around the image so that the text is not right beside it.  The larger the number you insert, the larger the space is.

6. Alignment:  This is a drop down menu, you can select Left if you would like the picture left aligned and the text to the right.  You can also select Right so the text is on the left and the image is right aligned. (Refer to the bottom of the manual, to see different alignment options).

Next click on the Link Tab, while still in the Image Properties screen.

Paste the URL link in the URL box

In the Target section, click on the drop down menu (this is optional).

If you would like the link to open up in a new window click on New Window.

If you want the link to open up in the current window, leave it as Not Set.

When you are done, click on OK

Click on Save when you are done.
