How to Create the Theme 2 Landing Page

This is what the Theme 2 Landing Page looks like

Step 1: Login

To get started you will need to login to your landing page creator account.

Step 2: Create New Landing Page

Click the "+" to create the new landing page

Scroll down until you see Theme 2.  If you want to choose a completely blank (text wise) landing page, click on the "+" on the bottom right of the preview. (option #1)

For this example we will be using Option #1

Note: If you would like to use the I Have Buyers For Your Home pre-made content, click on the "+" on the right. (option #2)

Step 3: Choose Your Subdomain

Enter in your subdomain name in the "Name" field and then click on Create.

If the subdomain name you have chose has not previously been used, the system will let you know the landing page has been created.  Please click on OK.

If the subdomain name you have chose has previously been used, the system will let you know that you need to choose a valid subdomain name.  Please click on OK to try again.

Step 4: Editing Your Landing Page

Now that your landing page has been created, the system will take you back to the Websites screen.  The new landing page you created, will show up at the bottom of the list.

Click on the Edit icon

In order to personalize / customize the landing page, you will need to click on the Edit icon.

You will now see the landing page has been created.  Your logo and picture should have automatically populated.

Step 5: Site Settings

Click on Site Settings in the top left corner of your page.

1. Now enter in the Page Title in the first field.  The page title is the text that shows up on the internet browser tab.

2. If you have site specific stat codes ie: tracking code, please enter the code in here. If you are having issues with this, please contact support directly.

 

When you are done click on Save.

Step 6: Map and Marker Settings

In order to make change to the map settings and the marker content, you will need to click on the Edit Google Map button.

NOTE: You can click on the save button after each adjustment you make if you want.  The save button is a green button at the bottom of the settings.  

It is recommended that you do this, due to the fact that sometimes the Save does not work after the first time, so you may have to try again.

1.  Address To Centre on Map

Start typing the in address you would like the map to centre around, then select the desired address from the drop down menu.

2. Zoom Level

You can select from 0 to 21 as the zoom level.  The default level is set to 17.

NOTE: the lower the number to more zoomed out the map.

If you would like a marker to show up on the map select yes, if not select no.

You can enter in your content for the marker here.  If you want to use HTML coding in this section, please do so.

5. Make Map Draggable

If you would like your map to be draggable using the mouse, then keep it to yes. Otherwise, select no.

6. Allow Scroll Wheel Zoom

If you would the zoom feature of the map to be accessible from the scroll wheel on the mouse, select yes, if not select no.

7. Show Map Type Control

If you would like the user to be able to switch from the map to satellite version of the map, select yes. If not keep it to no.  

If you select yes, the control type options will be in the top left hand corner of the map.

If you would like the scale control to show up on the map, please select yes, otherwise click on no.

As previously stated, it is a good idea to click on the Save button after each change you make.

Step 7: Title

If you would like to change the title for the page, please just double click on this area.   You will notice once you hover over the text, there will be a green line underneath it.

2. If you would like to change the color completely, please move the selector up or down to choose the correct color family.

3. If you would like to make the text more or less opaque, please move this selector to the left for more transparency, or to the right for more opaqueness.

If you would like to change the form title for the page, please just double click on this area.   You will notice once you hover over the text, there will be a green line underneath it.

1. Select the Form

You have the ability to select with Form you would like to use on this landing page, by selecting the form Name from the drop down menu. After selecting the correct form from the list, click on USE THIS FORM.

As soon as you click on Use This Form, the page will refresh, and you will see the form has changed.

Step 11: Edit Logo

The logo you setup as your default logo when you created the system, will automatically show up on this page.  If you want to change the logo to something else, you have the ability to do so.

When you hover over the logo, you will see a green line underneath the logo along with an Edit button.  Click on the Edit button to make the change.

If you would like to hide this section, select Yes from the drop down otherwise select no.

When someone clicks on your logo, what would you like to happen : Nothing, Go to Registration Form or take them to another URL.  Select your desired action from the drop down menu

If you choose Do Nothing or Go To Register Form, you will not have any further steps for this setting.  However if you click on Go To URL you will have to enter in the URL you would like the site to go to. You will also need to select whether or not you want this new page to open up in a new browser window/tab.  

NOTE: for the URL please make sure you start the url with http://www.

To change the image for the logo section, click on Select Image

When you click on Select Image, the Image Gallery will open up.

NOTE: If you have a website with AgentLocator, the images in this image gallery under Your Images, will not carry over from your website.  This is a completely different Image Gallery.

Step 12: Your Name

If you would like to edit the name that shows up on your landing page you have the option to do so.  When you hover over the name, a green line will appear.  Double click on your name to access the settings.

Step 12: Your Designation

If you would like to edit your designation that shows up on your landing page you have the option to do so.  When you hover over the designation name, a green line will appear.  Double click on your name to access the settings.

Step 13: Edit Profile Image

If you want to change the text in the footer, it is recommend that you highlight just the portion you would like to change and then enter in the updated info.  If you are having any trouble with this section, please contact support.

There are two different save options

1. Save Global - if you would like footer to be used on all of your landing pages, please select this option

2. Save For this Website Only - if you want this footer to be used only for this particular landing page, choose this option.

When you are finished making your changes, please click on Preview website (its in the top right hand corner of the site)
