How to Customize Listings Email Template

Customizing the daily new listing emails gives you an option to add your own personal touch to the automated listing emails sent to your clients. There are two template options available depending on your account type:

  • Teams: If you are working in a team, and you want to have your own customized version, select "Create Your Template."
  • Single Agents: If you are using the system for yourself, or want to create a version used by your entire team, then select "Create Company Template."

You can edit the subject line, header and footer of these emails. Please note that if you upload images to header and footer sections, they must be exactly 650 x 140 pixels.

Follow these steps to make the changes:

Step 1 Login to your CRM account 

Step 2 Go to Settings tab of the menu and open Email 

Step 3 Go to Listings tab and select the type of the template you want to adjust 

Step 4 If you have access to sold listings, select whether the changes will be made for sold or active listings template. The sold listing template is only available for boards where we receive sold listings.

Step 5 In order to edit the subject line, click on the subject field and update it to your liking. CLick on the yellow icon to utilize short-codes for the subject itself. 

Note: When the subject line of a listing email includes terms such as 'any city' or 'any home type,', we will automatically update them to  provide a more engaging and personalized message. The updated subject lines will be as follows:

For Active Listings: "[LeadsFirstName], new homes available in your home search!"
For Sold Listings: "[LeadsFirstName], explore these new Sold Listings!"
For Rented Listings: "[LeadsFirstName], explore these new Rented Listings!"

Step 5 You will be able to edit the header section by either adding the text/images manually, or by adding a html snippet with different elements.

Step 6 To use the text editor, simply remove the existing text, and utilize the editor to add your own text and to format it.

Note: You can use the short-codes and they will be automatically replaced with the lead information.
Click on the yellow icon while editing to see the list. 



 

Each short-code has an explanation on hover-over, and just click on the one you would like to insert:

Step 7 If you would like to add an html snippet, click on the source code icon, replace the existing one and click "ok"

Step 8 Repeat the same process for the footer section. 

Step 9 Click on Preview to review the changes, and click on Save changes in order to apply them to the template
Step 10 If you would like to revert the template, just click on Reset to original
